Hi Shauna,
This is one of the hardest emails I have had to write in a long time. I’m so sad to tell you, ** will not be coming back to BLC. 🙁 My husband and I have gone back and forth since we moved about sending him somewhere closer to home. And although I’ve wanted him to stay at BLC for as long as possible, and ** wants to stay there, I need my husband’s help to pick him up so I had to compromise and find something closer to home. Over the last almost 4 years that ** has been at BLC, he has grown so much. We have both learned so much about the parent/child/teacher/friends relationships and how to help ** grow into a kind, smart, friendly kiddo. I am forever grateful for BLC, you, and all the teachers that have had a wonderful influence in his/our life and the support that I’ve received as a new mom. I truly wish that I could have found a way for ** to stay there through Kindergarten at least, this decision was not easy for me. In fact, ** is very upset about not coming back to his friends. I hear about it almost daily, which wrecks my heart. I know how much his friends and teachers mean to him.
I hope that even though ** won’t be coming back, that we can stay connected. You have made a very positive impact in my life, and I’d really like you to continue seeing ** grow.
